FAQ’s
Having talked with friends and fellow mothers, it became clear that many would welcome maternity consultancy services to use at a time of their choice and need, either through a personal visit or telephone consultation.
How I work
I offer pre-natal and post-natal visits across Surrey and Hampshire, either as a home visit or by telephone or FaceTime conversations. I can assist you on a national basis to deliver you relevant personal, caring and confidential advice and support. After an initial visit, or phone call, we can decide together, if and how, any further support is given.
What to expect from a visit?
Our initial consultation will generally take place in the privacy of your home. Our discussion will involve a full history to date. I am then able to give you bespoke advice on the particular concerns that are raised and we can therefore work them out. During our time together we will have the opportunity to put into practice the given advice and then deal with any other queries that may arise.
How long will a visit take?
I initially suggest a consultation of 1-2 hours. This is flexible and dependent on particular needs.
How many times will I need to see you?
Some mothers feel happy and confident after one visit. Others choose to have a number of visits. Follow up contact may also take place by telephone.
How much will it cost?
A visit to your home will cost £70 per hour. If you choose a consultation by telephone, this is charged at £60 per hour, broken into blocks of 15 mins, charged at £15.00 per block.
